Hi I’m Elie!
A multidisciplinary illustrator, surface designer, and fiber artist whose work blends digital and traditional techniques.
As a Korean born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I draw on a multicultural background that shapes my work, often creating vibrant, layered narratives.
I’m inspired by nature and animals, and I like to embrace a playful “kidult” aesthetic that merges childlike wonder with thoughtful design. My visual language focuses on texture, soft shapes, and tactile qualities expressed through cut-paper illustrations, pattern collections, and experimental fiber-based work.
Lately, I’ve been interested in how fibers/textile processes can serve as a structural and illustrative medium, further expanding the boundaries between craft and visual storytelling.
